Kianda school dominate PIPSSA swimming championships

Kianda school emerged the overall winners of the fourth edition of the 2023 Private and International School Sports Association (PIPSSA) Swimming Championships over the weekend.

This is after accruing a total of 128 medals from various events at the event held at the Moi Educational Center, Nairobi.

Kianda scooped 48 golds, 47 silvers and 38 bronze medals to finish miles ahead of Dashing Dolphins (112 medals) and Strathmore school (79 medals) in second and third respectively.

The champions dominated the girls’ category, gaining a total of 4885 points. Dashing Dolphins (1179) and St. Peter's Juja (791) finished second and third respectively.

In the boys category Strathmore school emerged victorious ahead of St. Peter's Juja and Dashing Dolphins.

PIPSSA will hold Rift Valley swimming championships at the Shah Lalji Academy, Nakuru on June 10.
