Nyaberi named KVF acting President

The move follows the death of Waithaka Kioni on April 10.

Kenya Volleyball Federation deputy president Charles Nyaberi will act as President until a new office is elected on April 29.

The move follows the death of Waithaka Kioni on April 10.

Second vice president David Kilundo takes over Nyaberi's post.

The late Kioni will be laid to rest at his Kiamwangi home on April 19, the funeral organising committee announced on April 12.

The KVF elections have been postponed previously because of unavoidable circumstances.

Already, the election guidelines and regulations have been streamlined.

Both Nyaberi and Kilundo have expressed an interest in the presidency.
