He said their fourth-place finish in the KHF) league is not good for the team. They garnered 29 points from 14 wins.

"The league is over and we are in position four which is not good for us. Now that we are in the Super Cup, it’s important we redeem ourselves," coach Peter Mwathi said.

"We have learned through the hard way and we have to deal with all matches with the seriousness they deserve."

He said losing against Inspired and Thika was a major blow to the team as they could have easily missed from the top six teams.

"We have been top contenders for the league for the last five years finishing at position two and now position four is not good for us."

He, however, said they hope to rectify their mistakes ahead of the forthcoming season.

His immediate attention though remains on the Kenya University Sports Association (KUSA)  games that throw off in Eldoret on Friday.

"Since we are the hosts, we are determined not to disappoint our fans at our home ground," he offered.

He added, "Our main aim is to try our best so that we play the finals and set a record for our team."

Hill said their best performance nationwide has been the third position and it's time they won the event.

"We have been training well and we have improved so much in defence, which was our main undoing. We are not scared of anyone."
