Zetech Sparks registered their first win of the season after slaying Wadadia 3-0 in the Kenya Women’s Premier League match at Gems Cambridge.

Sparks, who last weekend drew 2-2 Ulinzi Starlets, played on the front foot with Monalisa Achieng giving the students a fourth-minute lead.

  Violet Achieng doubled Sparks' lead mid-way in the second half. She found the back of the net in the 74th minute before Yvonne Kavere made it 3-0 in the 84th minute.

Elsewhere, Ruth Chebungei's lone strike was all that Nakuru City Queens needed to edge Kisumu All-Starlets.

On Saturday, Ulinzi thumped Trans-Nzoia Falcons 4-0. Siliya Rasoa scored a brace while Lucy Nato and Neddy Atieno scored a goal each.

Atieno made her grand return from retirement after hanging her boots last year to be part of the FKF Caretaker Committee, whose tenure ended two months ago. 

 In Division One league, Falling Waters shared spoils with Soccer Sisters a 1-1 draw in Zone A. In Zone B, Gusii Starlets won 2-1 against Solasa Stima Queens. Vihiga Leeds suffered a 2-p loss to Kolwa Falcons.
