Champions National Cereals and Produce Board face University of Eldoret ‘Pippers’ in a Kenya Handball Federation match at Nyayo Stadium on Sunday.

Leaders NCPB remain unbeaten, with maximum 26 points, and are once again the team to beat in this year’s title race.

“We just take it as another challenge. We don’t take anything for granted and we are prepared for the game and all players are focused on this match,” said NCPB coach Dan Eshikumo

The Eldoret-based students are on a four-match tour of the city. They open the weekend with matches against Nairobi City Council (NCC) and Buccaneers. They will also play third-placed Black Mamba — who have 20 points — having lost two of the 13 games played so far.

In the women’s matches, champions Nairobi Water Queens — who are unbeaten from 12 ties — tackle Daystar University.

It will be a bust weekend for Bungoma-based Rangers who have four matches lined up. They start with Hope and NCC on Saturday and then battle Daystar and Rising Star on Sunday.

Jomo Kenyatta University of Agriculture and Technology (Jkuat) face Boomerang — who are also scheduled to battle Technical university of Kenya (TUK).
