Odok said key in the Sports Policy will be the quest to establish talent centres across the county as well as the construction of sports facilities.

He also promised to revive the stalled construction of Homa Bay Stadium.

“Homa Bay has talents which have not been exposed and developed because we don’t have facilities. Together with my colleagues in the Assembly, we shall push for the completion of the stadium, the construction of public basketball courts and social halls across the county. I also want sports personalities given health insurance,” said Odok.

The tactician who has been involved in sports development in Homa Bay for the last 20 years said he is keen to see active county leagues sponsored by the county government.
