Twelve athletes booked their slots for the global show set for  June/ July as Kenya looks to impress on debut.

"They (athletes) need to keep up the winning spirit. They have shown their potential to perform at the highest level and this will only be possible if they embark on thorough training," Litaba said.

"Improvement is only guaranteed when the players remain focused and committed to the course."

"Team Kenya should be dreaming of a top three finish at the World Cup by winning some medals to highlight the team's evolution. It will be the first time the team feature in an event of such magnitude but I believe they will be ready come next year," Litaba added.
