Upcoming female leaders from across various fields can now learn from their role models on a newly created platform dubbed Daughters of Africa.

The impact-led platform is a digital story telling space that invites African women leaders to share their experiential stories.

It was created by Gina Din Foundation in partnership with Adanian Labs.

"The one thing I want African women to experience on this platform is to feel heard," Gina Din Foundation founder Gina Din said.

The platform aims at achieving equity for women of colour by celebrating female African leaders via a digital space where they can share their authentic stories.

In addition, Daughters of Africa focuses on connecting the old and the younger generation so as to create measurable tangible outcomes.

Adanian Labs founder and CEO John Kamara said the platform allows women the power to share their experiential stories and creates a path to success for other women.

"And confidence required for them to become the best version of themselves, is the reason why I believe that Daughters of Africa is a change-making platform to connect women across Africa and the diaspora without the boundaries of age and position," Kamara said.

Creation of the platform was inspired by Gina Din's book by the same title, Daughter of Africa (2022).

Gina Din Foundation's partnership with Adanian Labs was inspired by the tech firm's mission to  build tech-powered impact driven startups in Africa.

The partnership increased interest in bridging the gender gap within the African technology ecosystem thus being considered timely and responsive to the long-term impact the organization seeks to achieve.

In the book, Gina Din  encourages African women to tell their stories and consider their voices heard.

She also aspires to highlight the inspiring stories of the Daughters of Africa.
