The two were arrested on Saturday after after a good Samaritan saw one of his neighbour's children with one of them and upon asking her she looked suspicious and they both failed to satisfactorily explain how they got hold of the child.
He immediately notified other passengers who helped in arresting them.
Upon reaching the police station, it was realized that they were trafficking the child to a ready buyer who was waiting in the Nairobi Central Business District
Their case is coming up before Kibera senior principal magistrate Electina Rihani.
