On the radar: Kindiki to officiate second phase of Shakahola exhumation

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki is expected to officiate the second phase of Shakahola forest exhumation on Tuesday. 

On May 4, government pathologist Johansen Oduor announced they had completed postmortem for 100 bodies exhumed from Shakahola forest. 

Oduor said they are left with 11 bodies including one of Mackenzie's followers who died in hospital after being rescued.

Presidential task force on religion 

Church and Clergy Association of Kenya, an umbrella body of churches and 1,000 religious leaders will issue a statement on the presidential task force to review laws governing churches in Kenya.

Last week, President William Ruto formed a commission to inquire regulation of religious institutions and a separate commission inquiry into the Shakohola tragedy.
