Narc Kenya Leader Martha Karua has alleged that Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua and Trade CS Moses Kuria hired goons to cause chaos during the Tuesday protest.

While addressing the media, Karua added that the goons had a meeting with the two leaders and were instructed to cause chaos, which would be blamed on the Azimio la Umoja team.

"Hooligans were hired to cause mayhem and destroy properties, we are aware they were acting under the command of Gachagua and Kuria. They were recruited at a meeting in Thika a few days ago, and were ferried to Nairobi last night," she said.

Karua further claimed that the hired goons torched a bus and beat up innocent people, who were going on with their daily duties.

"They stoned motorists, burned vehicles, and blamed it on our peaceful protesters," she added.

Karua's statement comes hours after a trailer was set ablaze by unknown people along the Southern Bypass but so far, no casualties have been reported and the motive remains unknown.
