Further, he faulted the police for allegedly killing one protestor in Jacaranda and two more in Kibra.

He added that nothing can stop them from proceeding with the protest.

"Today is just rehearsal, we will be doing this weekly. We shall not relent because of teargas and bullets," he said.

Kathiani MP and National Assembly Deputy Minority Leader Robert Mbui said they hold the police individually liable for any atrocities meted out on protesters.

Nairobi Senator Edwin Sifuna who led the MPs had stepped out of their legislative zone and was leading the Azimio la Umoja One Kenya coalition.

Some legislators allied with the opposition have been arrested for leading protests in the city centre.

Some of those arrested include; Senate Minority Leader Stewart Madzayo, National Assembly Minority Leader Opiyo Wandayi and one other female leader.
