President William Ruto has once again appointed Raphael Munavu to another top state job.
Munavu chairs the Presidential Working Party on Education Reforms, whose term ends this month.
In a gazette notice, Munavu will hold the new position with effect from March 10.
"Raphael Munavu to be the Chairperson of the Board of the Konza Technopolis Development Authority, for a period of three (3) years," the notice reads.
In a previous event, Ruto revealed that Munavu was the Chiromo School Principal when he was a student at the University of Nairobi.
Munavu will work alongside newly appointed board members for the next three years.
ICT CS Eliud Owalo has also appointed five members to the Konza Technopolis Development Authority board.
"They are Pacifica Chepkosgei, Philip Nyakwaka Olero,Samuel Kariuki Maina,Bertha Denna and Charles Kilonzo," the notice reads.
Before end of March, Munavu and the 48 other CBC taskforce members will have completed their six month assignment.
On CBC, the team led by Raphael Munavu is expected to elaborate on the conduct of key tenets in the curriculum.
“Implementation of aspects guiding the competency-based approach including but not limited to value-based education, community service learning, parental empowerment and engagement,” the gazette notice read.
The team will also evaluate the assessment of learners, the quality assurance and the standards of CBC.
Ruto also directed the team to look into teacher training and deployment.
