Environment CS Soipan Tuya on Wednesday conducted a tree planting exercise at Osinoni Secondary School, in Transmara West Sub County, Narok County.

The event which saw the planting of 600 trees by communities and morans is in tandem with the 15 billion Trees Campaign christened “Mission 15 Billion Jaza Miti” that was launched by President William Ruto on December 21, 2022.

The CS was accompanied by Kajiado Governor Joseph Ole Lenku, Narok County Governor Patrick Ntutu, and Samburu Governor Jonathan Leleliit.

Also present were Ministry of Tourism PS John Ololtua, Kilgoris MP Julius Sunkuli and Transmara West DDC Hassan Mohamed among other officials.
