Residents in Kisii have called for the investigation of a theft incident where thieves broke into a school and stole several tablets, a computer and a projector.

Motonyoni Primary school board chairperson Edward Memba said the burglars broke into two separate offices including the head teacher's office before stealing the items

He was briefed on the incident by the school guard on Thursday evening, several hours after the break-in.

The value of the gadgets stolen could not be immediately established.

Memba, however, said the value may be may Sh100,000.
