Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi will be back in court today as his case over forged KCSE certificates resumes.

The three-term lawmaker is being tried before a Nairobi magistrate for forging his academic papers.

The two remaining witnesses are a document examiner and the investigating officer.

Elsewhere in another case, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru will today be defending her Sh200 million house in Nairobi's upmarket Kitusuru estate after an advocate moved to court seeking her eviction.

The lawyer, in affidavits filed in court, says the house was irregularly sold to Waiguru in 2015.

The governor bought the house at Waridi Gardens from Kihingo Village Limited in September 2015 at a price of Sh80.6 million.

She had paid Sh40.6 million leaving a balance of Sh40 million.

At that time, the contested house had been allocated to lawyer Chris Kabiro, who is now claiming ownership and wants the governor to be kept out of his property.

In his affidavits, Kabiro says there was a court order barring Kihingo from selling, alienating, transferring, charging, or tampering with the property at the time when it was sold to Waiguru in September 2015.

The case is listed for hearing today.
