Trade, Investment and Industry Cabinet Secretary Moses Kuria has lauded the visa-free deal between Kenya and South Africa.
The deal was sealed during South African President Cyril Ramaphosa's official visit to Kenya on Wednesday.
While commenting on the visa-free deal, Kuria noted that the deal had made citizens of two nations equal.
"Everyone in this room today can travel to South Africa without a visa, just the same way they came to Kenya. You have made us equal and proud."
"The bold and brave decision you have taken for Kenyans on the issues of visa, can only be taken by brave men, surely fortune favours the bold," he said.
He added:
"We are happy that Kenyans will now go to South Africa visa-free."
On investments, the CS welcomed South Africans investors to set base in the country
"We are now determined more than ever to deepen our partnerships between two nations."
