Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua has arrived at the Mombasa ASK Showground in Mkomani.
The DP is expected to officially open the five-day International Agricultural Affair that opened its doors to the public on Wednesday.
He was received by Agriculture Cabinet Secretary Mithika Linturi, Mining and Blue Economy CS Salim Mvurya and their Public Service and Gender counterpart Aisha Jumwa.
Accompanying the DP was Mombasa Governor Abdulswamad Nassir, Gideon Mung'aro of Kilifi together with other MPs led by area MPMohammed Ali.
The show is resuming after having been suspended for two years due to the Covid-19 pandemic that hit the country in 2020.
The show is premised under the theme, ‘Promoting Innovation and Technology in Agriculture and Trade’.
It has attracted hundreds of local and international exhibitors.
This will be Gachagua’s second visit to Mombasa since they were sworn into office on September 13.
