Malkia Strikers have crashed out of the FIVB World Championships following their 3-1 loss to Puerto Rico at the Gelredome arena in Arnhem, Netherlands on Saturday.

The Kenya women's volleyball team needed a win of any margin in their final Pool A match to progress to the next stage.

They, however, bowed out after falling to Puerto Rico in sets of 15-25, 25-19, 18-25 and 20-25.

Veronica Adhiambo's brilliance (19 kills, one block, 2 aces) was not enough to power Kenya past the Caribbean Islanders.
