Arocho gifted new phone days after losing his while celebrating with fans

Media personality Fred Arocho has been gifted a brand new phone days after losing his phone while celebrating with football fans in Kisumu. 

Arocho was gifted the phone on Tuesday by Odibets General manager Dedan Mungai.

An excited Arocho while receiving his new phone said losing the phone was a huge loss to him, as it is what he uses to create content for his fans.

“My phone is my life, everything I do revolves around it, I shoot content everywhere I go with my phone thus it was a huge loss but now I have an even better phone courtesy of Odibets who have come through for me,” he said.

Speaking to journalists as he handed over the phone Mungai said that they decided to gift Arocho the phone because the company supports talent.

He went on to describe Arocho as a talented and seasoned sports journalist.

“Today we are here to support our very own Arocho who found himself on the unfortunate turn of events. Our efforts to reinstate his status phone will help him, continue doing the good he has been championing for society,” Mungai stated. 

In a video that went viral, Arocho is seen celebrating with football fans in a stadium in Kisumu shortly before noticing that his phone was missing.

A visibly frustrated Arocho cut short the celebrations as he tried to find the phone while asking for help from the fans but his plea was unsuccessful.

Arocho was on a work visit in Kisumu for the Safaricom Chapa Dimba tournament finals.
