Four anti-stock theft cops escape unhurt in Baringo accident

Four Anti-Sock Theft Unit police officers on Friday escaped unhurt after an anti-mine vehicle they were onboard was involved in an accident.

The vehicle was slightly damaged in the accident that occurred in the Ptikii area along the Limuru-Kolowa road in Baringo County.

"While crossing a lagger made of concrete, the edge of said concrete collapsed. The driver lost control of the said vehicle, veered off the road and landed down on the right side of the road as you faced Kolowa direction," a police report seen by the Star stated.

"The said vehicle was slightly damaged on the right side. The vehicle is still at the scene awaiting to be towed to the station for inspection."
