Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs Musalia Mudavadi is in Ethiopia ahead of the 22nd Extraordinary Session of the Executive Council of Foreign Affairs Ministers.

The 22nd Extraordinary Session of the Executive Council of Foreign Affairs Ministers will take place on Friday.

Upon his arrival in Addis, Mudavadi was briefed on the critical areas of engagement ahead of Friday.

The Kenyan mission in Addis furnished the PCS and CS for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs with upfront information about the Executive Council Session.

The Executive Council Session will be attended by Ministers of Foreign Affairs from the 55 AU Member States, officials of AU organs and offices, and partners.

According to the Information and Communication Directorate of the African Union Commission in Addis, the 22nd Extraordinary Session of the Executive Council will consider the draft report on the preparation for the election of senior leadership of the African Union Commission in February 2025.

CS Mudavadi will also hold key bilateral meetings to forge new connections, create networks, and explore fresh overseas business ventures for Kenyans.

He aims to market the country as a desirable location for investments.
