The Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP) has shortlisted 917 individuals for interviews to fill vacant positions advertised in December 2023.
In a notice on Tuesday, the ODDP said the 917 will take part in the interviews beginning February 7 to February 21, 2024.
"Interviews for the shortlisted candidates will be conducted from February 7 to 21, 2024 at the Prosecution Training Institute-Loresho and NSSF 19th Floor, Nairobi," the notice reads.
The ODPP urged the applicants to visit their website, Government portal (MyGov.go.ke), the ODPP Notice board at the Nairobi Headquarters and County offices to check details for posts they have been shortlisted for, their interview schedules and documents they are required to bring during the interviews.
The ODPP also called on the public with adverse information on shortlisted candidates to submit the information before February 2.
"The public with adverse information on any shortlisted candidate are requested to submit the information under Confidential Cover before February 2, 2024.
The Confidential letter should be addressed to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
In the 186 jobs advertised in December 2023, the ODPP is seeking to fill 86 persons in the Prosecution Counsel II and 30 vacancies in the clerical Officer II.
Further, a total of 20 vacant positions under the Office Assistant II have also been advertised, with an additional 20 positions under the Personal Secretary II.
More positions advertised are; Executive Secretary (7), Principal Prosecution Counsel (5), Senior principal prosecution Counsel (5), Supply Chain Management Officer II (2), Administration Officer I (2), and Principal Officer Administrator (2).
Others are; Senior Assistant Director, Human Resource Management(1), Assistant Director, Information Communication Technology (1), Assistant Director, Human Resource Management (1), Principal Supply Chain Management Officer (1), Principal Public Communication Officer (1), Senior Human Resource Management Officer I (1), Senior Human Resource Development Officer I(1).
