Court gags Ichung'wah against slandering lawyer Danstan Omari

Court has barred Ichung'wah from publishing defamatory information in any medium about Omari.

National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wah has been restrained from publishing any defamatory remarks against City Lawyer Danstan Omari.

Milimani Magistrate Caroline Cheptoo Kemei said Ichung'wah should not publish any defamatory information on any medium about Omari.

She said the orders shall be in force pending determination of the suit.

Ichung'wah has been given the leeway to appeal the directive.

The matter is to be mentioned on November 21 for pre-trial.
