Former 800m champion Wilfred Bungei involved in an accident

The 2008 Beijing Olympics 800m champion Wilfred Bungei was on Thursday involved in an accident.

The 800m champion was on his way to Kabarak University to admit his daughter.

While confirming the accident, Bungei said that no one was injured.

In a picture seen by the Star, the vehicle was damaged on the right side with both doors and windows damaged.

"Thanks be to the Higher Power. Kept us safe this morning on our way to admit my daughter to Kabarak University. We are all well. Thanks for the good wishes," he said.
