Azimio la Umoja leader Raila Odinga has arrived in Eldoret for the 8th Devolution Conference.
Upon arrival at the Eldoret International Airport, the former Prime Minister was received by Azimio leaders and leaders from Uasin Gishu.
Raila is expected to make a keynote address as the chief guest on the second day of the conference.
He will give his thoughts as the country marks 10 years of Devolution.
The eighth Devolution conference is themed, “10 Years of Devolution; The Present and the Future.”
Also expected to speak on the second day is Henriette Geiger the European Union Ambassador to Kenya.
The conference was opened on Wednesday by President William Ruto.
Ruto vowed to ensure that devolution works for the benefit of the people of Kenya.
He added that he will also not spare anyone in the fight against corruption.
The conference will be closed by Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua, on Friday.
