The death toll of Tuesday's Russian missile attack on Kramatorsk in eastern Ukraine has risen to 11.

Ukraine's emergencies service DSNS said in an update via Telegram that the dead include three children, among them 14-year-old twin sisters Yuliya and Anna Aksenchenko.

According to the BBC, at least 56 people were injured during the attack.

The BBC said Ukraine's President Zelensky understands that his country can't join Nato while it's fighting a war - but he wants a signal that "after the war Ukraine will be a member".
