Azimio leadership now wants the registrar of political parties to resign over the handling of Jubilee party wrangles.

Addressing a presser on Wednesday, the team led by ODM leader Raila Odinga, Narc Kenya leader Martha Karua, Wiper Leader Kalonzo Musyoka and former CS Eugene Wamalwa accused Nderitu of taking sides.

The group expressed commitment to stand with the Jubilee party faction affiliated with former President Uhuru Kenyatta.

"Make no mistake, Azimio will do anything possible to protect affiliate parties."

"Nderitu should leave office because she has been incorporated into Kenya Kwanza," Wamalwa said.

He added that the Office of Registrar of Political Parties no longer enjoys the confidence of Kenyans.

Wamalwa further censured Nderitu for not implementing the decision of Jubilee's Monday NDC where several NEC members were removed.

Former Ndaragwa MP Jeremiah Kioni said the NDC was properly convened contrary to remarks by Nderitu.

"The NDC was convened by party leader Uhuru Kenyatta. Our constitution says it's the party leader who convenes the NDC and not National Executive Council," he said.

He claimed the mission of ORPP is to kill multi-party democracy.

Wamalwa said Jubilee MPs who have crossed to Kenya Kwanza must go for by-elections.

"Those who were nominated should have their papers revoked," Wamalwa added.

The group at the same time endorsed the decision by Opposition MPs to walk out of the bipartisan talks.

The opposition coalition said the talks have been suspended until Tuesday.

Wamalwa said the talks will be deemed to have collapsed in six days if the two sides will not have reconvened.

"We will issue a statement on our next course of action of Tuesday if the talks will not have resumed," he said.

He said the Kenya Kwanza side was not keen to address the substantive issues; cost of living, an audit of IEBC servers, restructuring and reconstitution of IEBC and an end to taking over of Azimio affiliate parties.

"Our team wanted some preliminary action on the issues. Unfortunately, the team met resistance on all desired actions," Wamalwa stated. He added that Kenya Kwanza's side was taking instructions from different bosses.

"There was no clear direction from President William Ruto in how to proceed," he said.
