Former President Uhuru Kenyatta has said that he appeared at Jubilee offices to defend the party property.

Uhuru told off leaders who accused him of walking with youths who are not part of the Jubilee party.

Speaking on Monday during the Jubilee National Delegates Conference, Uhuru said he is ready to protect Jubilee's property.

"That day, I did not know why they stormed the Jubilee office, when I heard that they went there,  I resolved that I would go to the office and defend our property even if I was alone," he said.

"I hear people talking that they saw me walking with young boys, but I want to thank the young boys who came to defend their party. I found them there and most of them do not belong to Jubilee but were there for justice."

This comes after Uhuru made an appearance at Jubilee headquarters in Kileleshwa on April 26.

Uhuru went after chaos were witnessed at the Jubilee headquarters office after supporters of EALA MP Kanini Kega and suspended secretary general Jeremiah Kioni's clashed.

Notably present with Uhuru was Bunge la Mwananchi President Calvin Gaucho.

Uhuru came under sharp criticism for associating himself with the youths.

"Even you Gaucho next time we meet, I will buy you lunch, do not worry. You came to defend the party's property," Uhuru said.

He condemned the police saying they failed to come when they were called upon.

Uhuru asked Jubilee delegates to defend their party going forward.

He thanked the delegates for standing by the party when it faced challenges.

He said that no matter the time justice will be served to Jubilee members.
