Lawyer Miguna Miguna now says that what the opposition has done is not fair to Kenyans.

In a reaction to reports that the Azimio side had called off planned protests for Thursday, Miguna said all that was destroyed during the demos was because of one person's greed.

Tuesday protests saw a Public service vehicle bus set a blaze along Ngong Road and a trailer transporting cables burnt along the Southern By-pass.

Miguna went on to say that Azimio leader Raila Odinga only wants to be nominated to Parliament to become the official leader of the Opposition.

His reaction came after Azimo announced they would return to the bipartisan talks, which they had opted out of.

The decision to go back to the talks according to Azimio came after Kenya Kwanza confirmed that they had replaced MP Aden Keynan with Saku MP Dido Rasso in their side.

Azimio had contested Keynan's inclusion in the Kenya Kwanza side.

On Wednesday,  Kenya Kwanza and Azimio leaders in the National Assembly supported a petition calling for an amendment to the Constitution to create offices of Prime Minister and Official Opposition.

National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichung’wah and his Minority counterpart Opiyo Wandayi made a rare convergence on the expansion of the Executive when they made separate submissions before a Parliamentary Committee.

The two leaders however sharply differed on how to achieve the new offices as proposed in a petition filed by a private citizen, Victor Okul.

While Wandayi insisted that the matter must be subjected to a referendum, Inchung’wa appeared to agree with the petition, which said the offices could be created through a parliamentary process.
