Azimio leader Raila Odinga now says that he will present petitions to four state offices during their planned Tuesday protests.

In a statement on Sunday, Raila insisted that they will not sit back and watch as the state of the country worsens.

He went on to say that the opposition will not let itself be silenced, while all this is going on.

"We shall not agree to be cowed into silence when so many things are going wrong in the country; with cults that enjoy patronage and protection from State House killing Kenyans, including children in their hundreds, goons hired by the state invading and destroying private property, massive corruption making a grand return to the country and tribalism taking an unprecedented sway in public offices," Raila said.

The former Prime Minister said a petition will be taken to the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) showing that the August 2022 presidential poll results were doctored.

In the petition, they will also call for an audit of the IEBC servers.

"We shall also petition IEBC against sacking of the four commissioners because it presents a dangerous precedent in which in future elections, all commissioners will be required to agree with the chairperson of IEBC, effectively making election a one person show."

Raila said another petition will be presented to the office of the president on the high cost of living, and to also ask President William Ruto to desist from destroying rival political parties.

The Opposition leader said they will also visit the National Treasury where they petition for timely disbursement of salaries for civil servants and release of all monies owed to the counties.

Raila added that they will also present a petition to the Public Service Commission to demand that public appointments be done on merit and inclusivity, unlike is the case currently.

"We cannot have a country of close to 50 tribes where appointments go only to members of one tribe."
