National Assembly Majority leader Kimani Ichug'wah has a message to  Opposition Chief Raila Odinga following the launch of Lawyer Saitabao Ole Kanchory's book.

The UDA leader has put himself in Raila's shoes and expressed his 'pain'.

"Bwana Raila Odinga, I honestly feel your pain. Your own Chief agent admits you lost an election and shares his thoughts on how you lost," Ichung'wah said.

He said this even as Raila has remained mum over his 2027 presidential ambitions.

In Kanchory's book titled Why Baba Is Not The 5th, he sought to explain events and issues that led to Raila's downfall.

He reveals the behind-the-scenes chaos, power struggles and infighting among top campaign managers that could have cost Raila the presidency for the fifth time.

The former Raila's Chief Agent referred to his loss as a triple tragedy.

"I refer to Raila's loss as a triple tragedy because in my view he was the best president Kenya never had," Kanchory said.

He also noted that the ODM party leader lost his presidential bid in the worst circumstances.

In addition, while advising Raila, the UDA MP urged him to listen to Kanchory and see how to adjust for 2027.

"Listen to him. You’ll have no deep state and no sponsor then. Get organized now otherwise, we see another period of tears," Ichung'wah said.
