Kakamega Senator Boni Khalwale has listed a number of things that Azimio leader Raila Odinga should do in order to have a dialogue with President William Ruto.

In a statement on Thursday, Khalwale said that should Raila fulfil the two things, all doors for dialogue will be opened.

He said that the opposition boss must accept the results of the last general elections.

"As we welcome President Ruto back home, I advise that once Raila Odinga accepts the results of the 2022 election and respects the decision of the Supreme Court on the validity of that election, all the doors for dialogue should be opened up for him over the cost of living," he said.

The Azimio leader called for anti-government rallies and demonstrations countrywide.

He listed demands that President Ruto should address before they can have a dialogue.

The demands include opening the IEBC servers, lowering the cost of living and halting the hiring of electoral commissioners among others.

Ruto's camp has maintained that they will not open any talks with Raila outside established institutions because they hold that the Azimio boss is looking for a share of government.

They want Raila to first acknowledge that Ruto is the legitimately elected President of Kenya, suspend his mass action and then engage the government through parliament.

However, the former prime minister has maintained that he will not engage in any talks unless his demands are met.
