Azimio Leader Raila Odinga has told President William Ruto that he is not pursuing a path that will trigger anarchy, saying he is ready to face him.

The opposition leader said on Sunday that he is fighting for justice and freedom for the millions of Kenyans whom he said were robbed of victory.

"The people of Kenya have a right to peacefully picket, demonstrate and protest and that is how it shall be," Raila said at the JTM church in Embakasi.

Ruto had claimed on Saturday that Raila is after causing anarchy in the country with his calls for mass action.

But Raila responded saying Kenyans are fighting for electoral justice and respect for the Constitution and the rule of law.

"No, Mr Ruto, we don't want to bring anarchy in our country, we are fighting for our rights and we have a right to tell Kenyans the truth," he said.

"Every time you speak against us in churches, today we have answered you back."

He urged his supporters to turn up in large numbers for protests on Monday in all parts of the country to fight for justice.

Police have declared the Azimio protests illegal and have warned that they will clampdown on demonstrators
