Rally driver Maxine Wahome has been charged with the murder of her late boyfriend.

It is alleged that on December 12 at Preston Apartments on Oloitoktok Road, she murdered Asad Khan.

She denied the charge before Justice Lilian Mutende.

The prosecution has asked the court to remand her at Langata Women prisons.

Murgor asked the court to allow them to argue the bail application today.

The plea was taken virtually after Murgor withdrew the application seeking a physical court appearance.

Justice Lilian Mutende has directed that a pre-bail report be filed in court.

The bail application will be heard on Tuesday next week.
