Kindiki reshuffles commissioners, Baringo's Jaldesa affected

Some four county commissioners were recalled

Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has made changes in the national administration, recalling four county commissioners and transferring 20 others.

Those recalled include Herman Shambi(Nandi), Mathias Rioba(Trans-Nzoia), Michael Ivuto(Kirinyaga) and Stephen Kihara(Embu).

The four were recalled to the Ministry of Interior and National Administration headquarters, Harambee House, for deployment.

Those reshuffled in the latest changes include Baringo county commissioner Abdirisack Jaldesa who has been moved to Mombasa and Michael Lesimam of Nyamira, who now moves to Kericho.

Gideon Oyagi of Kwale takes over from Rioba in Trans-Nzoia while Stephen Kutwa has been promoted from Deputy County Commissioner and posted to Baringo county.

Others moved are Thomas Sankei from Tana River to Bungoma, Loyford Kibaara from Taita Taveta to Nakuru, Karuku Ngumo from Murang’a to Wajir, Amos Mariba from Nyandarua to Mandera and Nobert Komora who moves from Tharaka Nithi to Marsabit.

Erastus Mbui moves from Kitui to Migori county, Joshua Nkanatha from Kiambu to Embu Josephine Ouko from Kisumu to Busia, Isaac Masinde from Narok to Homa Bay, Susan Waweru from Vihiga to Nairobi, Moses Lilan from Homa Bay to Kitui, Mohamed Barre is shuffled from Nyeri to Nyandarua.

Nakuru county commissioner Gilbert Kitiyo moves to Vihiga, Onesmus Kyatha from Mandera to Nyamira and Paul Famba moves from the headquarters to Machakos.

Michael Mwangi from Migori to Kwale and Josephine Onunga who moves from the headquarters to become the County commissioner of Taita-Taveta.

Some 12 deputy county commissioners have been promoted and made full county commissioners and posted to various counties.

Jack Obuo becomes the new Kiambu county commissioner, Gerishon Mathioya(Kisumu), Patrick Mukuria(Murang’a) Pius Murugu Mugambi(Nyeri), Wesley Koech Mabwa (Tharaka Nithi), David Kariuki Gitonga(Narok), Josephat Biwott(Kilifi), Louis Rono(Lamu), Caroline Mueni(Nandi), Bejah M’mbesta(Tana River) and Nayioma Tobiko (Kirinyaga).

Some nine deputy county commissioners have been shuffled by Kindiki in the latest changes.

Abdihakim Jubat moves from Kimilili to Transmara South, James Taari from Tana North to Kajiado North, Moranga Morekwa from Kajiado West to Tana North, Patrick Mwangi from Kajiado North to Samburu East.

Others Catherine Kamathai from Thagicu to Mathare, Samuel Gichohi from Isiolo to Tiaty East, Aaron Omaset from Vihiga to Tiaty West and Lydia W Munyi from Mumoni to Kajiado West.
