Azimio leader Raila Odinga has fired at the government over DP Rigathi Gachagua's remarks on Kenya being a company with shareholders.

"Kenya is not the property of William Ruto and Rigathi Gachagua. Kenya belongs to Kenyans."

"For those who are supposed to help in the running of government, the President will choose people who understand and have faith in the Bottom-Up economic transformation agenda," he said.

"This is because you must get leaders who understand your agenda so that there can be progress."

Raila also accused President Ruto for lying to Kenyans, saying he made promises that he is yet to fulfill.

The chief opposition leader reiterated his demands to the Kenya Kwanza administration for the cost of living to be lowered in 14 days.

He said there are 11 days to go before the ultimatum lapses and the Azimio team floods the streets for mass action.

Raila affirmed that ultimately, power belonged to Kenyans.
