On Wednesday, Nairobi-based lawyer Steve Ogolla became the talk of the town.
His name towered top on the trending tab on the social media platform Twitter.
He is, however, not new to this. Late last year, he made headlines after he got married to Cebbie Kokeyo, sister to singer Esther Akoth alias Akothee.
For those who might be wondering why he is trending this time around, this is the reason.
On Tuesday, Ogolla who represents former IEBC chairman wrote a demand letter to Opposition leader Raila Odinga over his remarks on Sunday at the Jacaranda grounds.
Raila claimed that Chebukati and Commissioners Boya Molu and Yakub Guliye paid him a visit at his home and asked for a bribe.
In the letter, Chebukati also threatens to sue Raila over his statements during the Jacaranda rally.
"In the circumstances of your allegations, and in the context of our client's strong rebuttal thereto, our instructions are to demand from you, as of right, which we hereby do, to be furnished with the alleged video footage within seven days from the date hereof," the letter reads.
The demand letter has elicited mixed reactions with Kenyans weighing in on the matter.
Some backed the lawyer, while other advised him against taking on someone of Raila's stature.
