Police in Kisumu have arrested two suspected M-Pesa fraudsters who have been on the wanted list for fraud-related cases.

The suspects, who are wanted by police in Mombasa, were arrested in Kondele, Kisumu Central sub-county by officers from Kondele Police Station on Friday.

The suspects are being held at Kondele Police station.

Nyanza DCI boss Geoffrey Kathurima confirmed the arrest of the suspect saying they are awaiting to be picked up by their counterparts in Mombasa county.

He said the suspects are wanted by Mombasa police for reported cases of M-Pesa fraud and car breakings.

"They run a syndicate that operates ok major towns across the country and have been on the run," Kathurima said.
