Ruto scheduled to launch affordable housing in Bungoma

Lusaka described President Ruto’s visit to the region as one that will further development.

Bungoma governor Ken Lusaka has said that President William Ruto is scheduled to tour Bungoma purposely to launch the affordable housing program.

In an Interview with the press on Monday, Lusaka said that he wants Bungoma to be among the counties to benefit from the President's housing program.

“This is the time to deliver what we promised during campaigns, the President has confirmed that he will be here in due course to launch the housing project,” Lusaka noted.

The county boss said that the project will be built at Musikoma, Kanduyi Constituency, Bungoma South Subcounty arguing that the project will greatly serve residents.

Lusaka described President Ruto’s visit to the region as one that will further development.

“President William Ruto will be in Bungoma in the coming weeks to launch the affordable housing project at Musikoma,” said governor Lusaka.

On Monday, governor Lusaka launched Sh33.8m street lights which he says that will help light town streets and address insecurity incidents.
