Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko has launched a fresh war with current City Boss Johnson Sakaja accusing him of running the county government bullishly.

In an interview with Nation, Sonko told off the City boss saying he should be grateful that "Uhuru messed" his chance of being on the ballot because he would not have been the Governor if he vied.

Sonko has been accusing former President Uhuru Kenyatta of orchestrating his impeachment from office.

Uhuru has equally admitted partly that he had a hand in Sonko's ouster from office.

His impeachment was upheld by various courts including the Supreme Court rendering him unfit to vie for any elective seat.

Sonko's war with Sakaja began after receiving what he termed as "numerous complaints" from a section of leaders and some City residents who he claimed were lamenting over the governor's style of leadership.

"Respect the great people of Nairobi. Na kung'olewa si lazima wananchi wakung'owe. We can use the power of the people to remove you from that seat," he said.

He also warned the Governor of any attempt to disrespect the UDA party, President William Ruto and his deputy Rigathi Gachagua saying they will not allow that to happen.

"Tumekunyamazia sana because we respect you. But ukianza kudharau UDA, President and Deputy President, I am sure we are going to cause havoc. "

He asked the governor to consult all stakeholders before making key decisions saying that it is wrong for him to ignore key decisions like ones made by the County Assembly.

"Respect everyone including the business community. MCAs have lifted the ban on nightclubs and you are insisting the ban is still there. Wacha kudharau wananchi."
