Defence Cabinet Secretary Aden Duale has shared a message of condolences to the family of Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi.
The CS took to his Twitter handle to reveal that Mama Saado Ahmed had passed on even as he shared his message of goodwill to the family in this mourning period.
"On behalf of my family and myself, I send my commiserations to the family and friends of my brother @ahmednasirlaw for the death of Mama Saado Ahmed Noor; his mother and our grandmum," he tweeted.
He added:
"Oh Allah, forgive our living and our dead, those present and those absent, our young and our old, our males and our females. O Allah, whom among us You keep alive, then let such a life be upon Islam, and whom among us You take unto Yourself, then let such a death be upon faith."
Lawyer Ahmednasir was yet to speak on the mother's passing on either in a tweet or press statement by the time of going to press.
Being an Islamic family, Mama Saado is likely to be laid to rest today in accordance with their customs.
