In the video that circulated on Twitter on Wednesday, the alleged suspect is heard telling the lady he will not pay her as he points at her.

"I'm not paying you. Kwani unadhani unaeza nipeleka mahali. There's nowhere you can take me. I talk to the President (William Ruto) directly," he said.

The man continued talking, saying if she were to decide to press charges against her, they would not stick.

The lady can be heard telling him to go on and hit her if he wants to.

He further tells her that she is of the same age as his son, adding that she should not disrespect him.

Gabow said the law will apply to all, regardless of status.

"We will remind the public that the law will be applied equally irrespective of anybody's social networks or status."
