Ruto presides over swearing in of 20 high court judges

Twenty High Court judges were sworn-in in an event presided over by President William Ruto on Wednesday.

The event was held at State House, Nairobi at 7 am.

Those sworn in are Heston Nyaga, John Chigiti, Peter Mulwa, Lawrence Mugambi, Gregory Mutai, Robert Wananda, Samwel Mukira, Francis Ochieng, Fred Mugambi and Dennis Magare.

Others are Patricia Gichohi, Josephine Mongare, Patricia Nyaundi, Diana Kavedza, Sophie Chirchir, Mwaisha Said, Florence Macharia, Teresa Achieng and Aleem Visram.

This will be the second time Ruto will be presiding over the swearing-in ceremony of judges since he took office on September 13.
