Mudavadi leaves country for Commonwealth trade, investment summit in London

The PCS will represent President Ruto at the two-day summit.

Prime Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi will on Saturday leave the country to attend the Commonwealth Trade and Investment Summit in London.

Mudavadi will represent President William Ruto in the summit organised by the Commonwealth Enterprise and Investment Council.

The two-day conference will, among other things look at strategies for a just and secure transition to sustainable energy, food security and resilience.

 

Other issues to be discussed during the summit will be health technology and the future of health delivery and green finance.4

The trade and investment summit comes a few weeks after the conclusion of the Commonwealth Business forum in Kigali, Rwanda in June and the COP27 conference in Egypt.

The Commonwealth assists Kenya, under the Commonwealth Secretariat’s Regular Fund formerly known as the Commonwealth Fund for Technical Co-operation (CFTC).
