12 Police officers and their commanders will on Monday take a plea for murder charges in Baby Pendo's death.

Baby Pendo was killed on August 12, 2017, during post-election skirmishes in Kisumu.

An autopsy showed she succumbed to serious head injuries inflicted by a blunt object.

DPP Nordin Haji approved murder charges against the officers and directed that they be charged.

They will be charged under the International Crimes Act, the first time Kenyan courts will put on trial suspects accused of murder.

Heavy snow is expected to keep piling up in western New York state.

On Sunday, s historic storm saw the Buffalo area logging record snowfall totalling more than 6 feet in some areas.

National Weather Service in Buffalo had issued a special weather statement warning a band of heavy snow accompanied by high winds was creating a “burst of snow” in western New York state.
