The meeting which is only attended by United Democratic Alliance MPs is being chaired by the President.
The UDA MPs were informed of the suspension of ongoing vetting of Principal Secretaries.
Other Kenya Kwanza allied parties with parliamentary representation are UDA (145), Amani National Congress and United Democratic Movement (eight), Ford Kenya (six), Pamoja African Alliance (three), Maendeleo Chap Chap and The Service Party (two), DP and Movement for Democracy and Growth (one MP each).
The 'crucial' meeting is also happening at a time lobbying for the five slots to the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA) has intensified.
