A man has been charged with using his phone to expose a young boy to pornographic material before defiling him.
Nestor Nahimana was charged before senior principal magistrate Electina Riani where he denied the charges.
The court heard that the accused person defiled SP on September 17 at Kirigu, Mutuini area in Dagoretti subcounty within Nairobi county.
The minor was aged 13 years old at the time the offence was committed.
The prosecution said the accused person lured the minor into his room where he was working as a security guard before committing the offences.
Nahimana pleaded for leniency and requested for light bond terms.
The prosecution, however, asked the court to grant him a tough bond terms saying that the offence of defilement is serious and it attracts a harsh penalty.
The magistrate released him on Sh300,000 bond with the surety of the same amount.
The hearing will commence next month.
