Elsewhere, a four-year-old boy fell from the third floor of a residential house in Mowlem area, Dandora and died on the spot.

The boy identified as Dominic Kimaro was playing on the balcony of the house when he slid and fell off landing on his head.

His parents had left him with his sister aged 10 when the incident happened.

Meanwhile, police are investigating an incident in which a matatu driver was stabbed to death by a hauler at a bus stop along Tom Mboya Street, Nairobi.

The hauler was later rescued and arrested by the police as a mob tried to lynch him.

The driver identified as Simon Nyambane attached to Transline Galaxy died in hospital after he had been stabbed and bled profusely.

Police and witnesses said the deceased and a hauler had had an altercation at the bus stop before the assailant reached a knife and stabbed him in the stomach.

The deceased was picked up by his colleagues and rushed to Kenyatta National Hospital where he was pronounced dead while being attended to.

Police said preliminary findings had shown the two were arguing over space at the bus stop.

The haulers usually operate in the area to move luggage. They at times clash with the matatu operators over parking and operational space.
