Gachagua back to Uasin Gishu for thanksgiving service after election win

Deputy President Rigathi Gachagua on Sunday led a thanksgiving service on behalf of President William Ruto in Eldoret, Uasin Gishu county.

Ruto is in Uganda to attend Uganda Independence day celebrations this Sunday.

The church service is being hosted by Uasin Gishu governor Jonathan Bii.

It was held at Koilel primary school in Uasin Gishu County.

The service is meant to thank God for the victory that Kenya Kwanza got in the August 9, polls.

Leaders present at the Thanksgiving service are the National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula, Elgeyo Marakwet Senator Kipchumba Murkomen, National Assembly Majority Leader Kimani Ichung'wa, Narok Governor  Patrick Ntutu, Kiharu MP Ndindi Nyoro, Ruto’s aide Farouk Kibet among others.
